Abstract
Stopping global heating does not just mean building solar panels and wind turbines, and switching to electric vehicles. Many industrial processes have carbon emissions that cannot be avoided with today's technology.

Producing cement, steel, glass, plastics, aluminium, and many other products will require new production processes. In the talk, I will discuss some of these examples and the huge challenges that come with these changes.
